Senior architect and familiar face to the architectural community, Paula Pittman was born and raised in NL and received her Master of Architecture from TUNS, now Dalhousie University, in 1989. Her love of travel and culture led to work terms in Europe, and after graduation she lived and worked in Montreal and Germany, before moving back home to NL in 1994.

Paula built her career in some of the most significant architectural firms in the province, and her experience encompasses a myriad of building types, sizes, and complexities, from community and municipal buildings, health care facilities, institutional facilities, fire stations, multi-family residential, to office and commercial complexes.

Paula believes each new project is an opportunity to learn, to use her skills to problem solve, to be creative, and to help her clients by creating meaningful, functional, and beautiful spaces for their needs.

“Architecture has a social agenda; it creates the very fabric of our communities and we need to have respect for this. As architects, we put the end user experience foremost in our minds when designing, and we translate client visions into facilities that contribute to healthy, active and ultimately happy communities.”
