Se’t A’newey Kina’matino’kuom (St. Anne’s School) for Miawpukek First Nation K4-12, located Conne River, NL, 2017 was completed in the fall of 2017. This was a design-build project and GSA partnered with FBM architects. This school is a state-of-the-art facility designed to accommodate 182 students from K4 to grade twelve and occupies approximately 2817 square metres in gross floor area and is located in Conne River, NL. Included in this facility along with typical all-grade program spaces is a Mi’kmaq language studies centre, daycare, resource centre and dental clinic, and the facility serves as a community hub, hosting a variety of community and cultural events. Gathering spaces and connection to the land are primary features of this building.
